Kitson Emery (she/her) is..

An illustrator and designer in Chicago, Illinois. Her work derives most of its inspiration from her city, children’s literature, chosen family, and grief shared.
Kitson(also known as Sarah to many) holds a BA in Illustration from Columbia College Chicago (2022). While in attendance, she was awarded the “Best Children’s Book Illustrator ILLO” two years in a row (2021-2022) and nominated for the “Best Sketchbook ILLO ” in 2019. Her traditional work was featured in campus galleries such as, “Dark Market” (2021) and March of Mini's" Art Show (2020) where she was highlighted for her outstanding painting as a featured artist.
Other projects of passion include her work as the chapter artist for "From Shattered To Restored: Restoration Guide"(2022) written by Nanette Larson and the cover artist of "Okay God!' by Susan Kirby (2023).
Currently, Kitson communicates her message as a corporate and product designer for Personalization Mall. Where she has been recognized for her best-selling designs across corporate partnerships within Target and Walmart marketplaces. She has also had the privilege to work with dream brands such at Barbie, NASA, Disney, MTV, Warner Bros, and more as a corporate designer, aiding them in personalized gifts and designs for whatever they may need from mockup to finished product.
You can find her drawing beside the lake, dancing with her friends, and counting fireflies with her nieces and nephews. She will be glad to say hello.
